I was a disbeliever of Bowen therapy for horses. I felt Bowen for me as a human and could see the benefits of it as it settled me down, and allowed my body to adjust on its own. But for horses ? I really thought Dianna was a snake oil salesman….selling some

service that was close to voodoo or witchcraft.

Well, I let her work on Piper, my 18 year old 15.3 hand Quarter horse. She did some work on her and said her left shoulder was ‘locked up’. I thought OK ( so what?). She finished and said don’t ride her for 24 hrs. Well, I did anyway. I cantered her, and she

swung her right hind at the canter so like that part of her body was going sideways. I thought, what is going on now? Well, she told me it was because the left shoulder was now freely moving for the first time, and that the right hind was finally really engaging.

Three more days go by. I got on again, and wow! She was very goosed up to go and was away at a trot quickly. When we cantered, she went with gusto, and perfectly straight !

I actually had to try to slow her down as we cantered, and had contact with her mouth for like the first time since I bought her !

Ok, I believe now, and cant wait for my next treatment for Piper.
