Bowen Practitioner Level II    Australia

              BALANCE FOR THE  ENTIRE BODY
       and specific injuries

Bowen came to the United States via Australia.
It entails a very gentle "move" on the fascia of the muscles. The slight "rolling" sends a vibration to the nervous system,  that in turn stimulate nerve endings. The final result, is a integration of the body when messages are sent to the brain.

Bowen oxygenates the blood.  It is the only alterntive therapy that I have come across that helps neurologically.

Yawning after of a session.

When a horse leaves  the fight or flight mode and enters the "healing" parasympathetic mode, they lick, chew, yawn and roll their eyes. They enter a trance-like state from all the endorphins.

BELOW LEFT:  This horse has had many treatments to bend like this.
