Right:
ROADIE:
One of the dogs on which I learned and practiced bowen.
He was stepped on by a horse and after two surgeries he was dragging his leg. Amputation was definately in his future until my instructors Carol Bennett & Dr. Lynn Peck DVM helped.
As you can see he recovered.
He was the primary case study in Minneapolis 2006 for the
National Symposium on Pain Management for veterinarians.
ABOVE LEFT: A balanced puppy with soft, but attentive eyes.
SASSY:
Sassy made an amazing recovery after just one session. He is no longer overweight, lethargic and has less allergies. He was open to the bowen, had many releases, and is much happier!
Left is SAMMIE.
She is 14 years old.
I adopted her from the animal shelter at which time she was very sick and was leary of humans. She has benefited from bowen therapy mostly from an emotional stand-point. At her age she is fired up for a good game of hide and seek, can climb trees and will find every chipmunk in the yard! Her body is quite agile & her weight is appropriate.
NOTE: Bowen therapy is not intended to be a substitute for veterinary care.
