It was by fate that I met Dianna.  I was looking for sponsors for our club’s open show when I ran across her website.  Reading through the information about Bowen Therapy and what Dianna can do for horses, it made me think of the horses that I have saved from abuse and neglect and how those experiences affect them. 

I contacted Dianna and she agreed to demonstrate Bowen Therapy at our little open horse show. I brought 2 of my horses for her to work on.  One was a 14-year-old gelding that I had saved from abuse and neglect and the other was a gelding that was born on our farm – they were father and son. 

The older gelding was very excitable, and although he had been shown in the past, he hadn’t been anywhere in a while, so upon arriving at the show, he had ears pricked and was very excited.  We got him into the barn isle, where Dianna began to work on him and explain her techniques.  It was an amazing process, watching him release tension, seeing his body react - by the end of the session, he was just standing there, and actually fell asleep while we worked on the other gelding!

The younger gelding, although he had no abuse in his life, had a few of his own issues.  A recent problem was that he would twist off the rail when being ridden.  Sometimes at the walk, he would just stop, not wanting to go forward.  It was Dianna that discovered he had two vertebrae out of place just behind his withers.  You could see the bumps!  She also worked out a few issues between him and my husband, so they could communicate better.  So just because your horse is born and raised by you, doesn’t mean they can’t have issues to sort out.

The other horse she worked on at our show was an 8-year-old Arabian mare that I had been training for the past 6 weeks.  We were at the show for the Green-horse walk-trot class, and the mare was very excited because her barn-buddy was there and they were inseparable!  Screaming at each other when apart, I didn’t think I would be able to show this mare that day.  However, Dianna worked with her some, and afterwards I got on and warmed up the mare.  She was still pretty silly, but after some time warming up, and after Dianna coming over and showing me a few techniques to help calm the mare while riding her, we took 1^st place in our class by unanimous vote of 2 judges!

I have seen a lot of animal communicators and clinics, but none so powerful as the brief sessions I had with Dianna.  She helps the animal get in touch with itself – you can see the results as they are happening.  She then helps you get in touch with the animal.  And finally, she helps you get in touch with yourself.

I am thankful for meeting Dianna McPhail and having the opportunity to experience her gifts first-hand.  I highly recommend Dianna and having her work on you and your horse, as you will be amazed at the results!
